These days you can hardly go through any articles, books, DVDs, movies, films, documentaries with regard to self-improvement or self-help without coming across at least one mentioning of some ‘Universal Law’.

Suddenly, there appears to be a Universal Law for anything. Like we haven’t got enough Laws to deal with already!

There is truth to these ‘Universal Laws’, but in most cases, a little nuance is in place. Please read along, as the remainder of this article will clear it all up.

There are Universal Laws that guide your life behind the scenes of ‘physical reality’. These are actually rather ‘universal principles of life’. That would be a more appropriate qualification.

However, the qualification of ‘Universal Law’ has taken on a life of its own. The word ‘Law’ appears to be a magic word… Almost a magic wand that casts a spell on anyone who reads it that puts them in a hypnotized state thinking that what it says must be true. After all, it’s a ‘Law’ isn’t it? A ‘Law’ is always right. No more thinking required.

Today, subjects like the ‘Law of Attraction’ are at an all-time high of popularity. We’ve got the movie ‘The Secret’ and a whole big bunch of people trying to leverage on it by proclaiming themselves as ‘experts in the field of the Law of Attraction’, or ‘masters of attraction. Yes, there’s that magic word (wand) again.

And simply because people seem to like ‘Universal Laws’, every now and then a new ‘Universal Law’ makes its entrance. People come up with new ‘Universal Laws’ all the time. And likewise, new ‘experts on the Law of Attraction’ and ‘masters of attraction’ proclaim themselves every day.

Yet despite so many people having seen the movie ‘The Secret’ and knowing about the Law of Attraction, there is only a very, very small number of people who are actually living the life of their dreams, or ‘attracting their desires’, or ‘manifesting their dreams’. Yes those are some other ‘magic words’ from today’s common terminology.

How come? How come, with all that knowledge, with all those ‘Universal Laws’ already written and told about, and with all those new ‘Universal Laws’, ‘Spiritual Laws of the Universe’, ‘Subsidiary Laws’ and so on coming about each and every day on the Internet and elsewhere… How come with all the people buying those books, DVDs, movies, films, documentaries, and so on, are still not ‘attracting their desires’ or ‘manifesting their dreams’?

I’ll tell you why. Most people have heard something about it, but have no real knowledge about the matter. They are aware of the fact that there are ‘Universal Laws’, or rather ‘universal principles of life’ that work behind the scenes and guide the courses of their lives.

However, most people have lost track, because so many who think they know what they’re talking about (while they don’t) come up with these new ‘Universal Laws’ all the time. There may be some truth to all these different ‘Universal Laws’. But what they really do for genuine seekers for the truth like yourself is not much more than making things way too difficult and complex to apply.

And if that isn’t enough already, often another big problem comes up when you start reading about the ‘Law of Attraction’ and the ‘Laws of the Universe’. The ‘experts’ who speak or write about them tend to do so in such an overly symbolic fashion, that few well-thinking people can make any practical sense of it. What you find is nothing but ‘enigmas wrapped in riddles’.

Listen; there are universal principles of life. ‘Universal Laws’ if you will. However, when it comes to applying them to your advantage, we are in desperate need for some clarity.

Let me show you what I mean. I can come up with hundreds of ‘Universal Laws’ if I want.

Here are a couple of them…

  • Introducing the Universal Law of Ping Pong

It says you have to use ping pong balls if you want to play table tennis.

  • Introducing the Universal Law of Rain

It says that when it rains, things get wet.

Disappointing, eh? But they did sound interesting at first, right?

See what’s happening here?

The mere qualification of ‘Universal Law’ makes the statement sound interesting already, while the true deeper meaning of the ‘Universal Law’ is nothing more than a standard, blindingly obvious platitude.

So let me give you another Universal Law right now, to satisfy your probably insatiable need (or so you may think) for knowledge of all ‘Universal Laws’ to improve your life, ‘attract your desires’, and ‘manifest your dreams’ once and for all:

Introducing the Universal Law of Bollocks

It says that it’s all bollocks.

That’s right, it’s all bollocks. Bollocks! There are universal principles guiding your life. If you want, you can call them ‘Universal Laws’. I’ve done so in my books and articles, because that’s what people are looking for these days. If I would apply other terminology, people would never even be looking at it. Simply because they think they need ‘Laws’.

But it’s all bollocks, because before this whole game we call ‘human life’ started, we didn’t get an instruction manual on how life was supposed to be lived. We didn’t get a Code of Law full of ‘thou shalt not’s’. The purpose of the whole thing was to find out the universal principles and realize that through applying these principles, YOU can have full control over whatever it is you want to create. The purpose of the whole thing was to find out that the world ‘outside’ is only a mirror showing what’s going on ‘inside’. All this time, the whole thing has been about finding out that you create your reality experience yourself.

Yes, that’s right, you ‘create’, which is much more than ‘attracting’. But that’s something you’ll discover as you get more experienced in the conscious living of your life and in the engineering your own success by applying the true and simple universal principles of life.  Or yes, ‘Laws’ if you will.

What you call ‘good’ and ‘bad’ are qualifications of your own. You are the one who deems things to be ‘good’ or ‘bad’. That’s merely a judgment from your individual perspective. When you’re not satisfied with your reality experience, you need to create something else that you are satisfied with.

For many, this is where the Law of Attraction comes in. According to most, this one states that what you focus your thoughts on becomes your reality. There’s truth to this statement, but there’s more to the story. Positive thinking and visualizing aren’t going to cut it.

There are certain boundary conditions to take into account, certain ‘universal principles of life’. Without attending to these conditions, your attraction efforts will be sabotaged. And this is exactly what most people who have seen ‘The Secret’ and have tried to put the ‘Law of Attraction’ into practice are experiencing.

But the last thing you need are instructions that are either overly symbolic, or too complex to apply. What you want is to keep things simple and straightforward. Or else you may get lost in the details. You want just enough straightforward knowledge for simple application of the principles, while still having a total view on the big picture that is comprehensive enough to not forget about any universal principle or Law for that matter.

If you want to make life simple for yourself, to start pulling the right strings at once to create the life and destiny of your dreams, then don’t waste another second on trying to find out every small, detailed, insignificant ‘Universal Law’ someone came up with today. You’ll be like a cat chasing its own tail: a never-ending story that leaves you exhausted and depressed.

Neither should you merely think positive thoughts and then wait for things to happen. There’s a little more to it. Just a little, nothing complex, but still extremely important.

Just keep it simple.

There are 6 main Universal Principles (or Laws) that cover all universal principles automatically. Attend to them all, which is a simple thing to do without much effort required, and you’ll be living more than your dreams before you can even consciously realize you created such an incredible experience!

Keep it straightforward and easy-to-apply. The game of life wasn’t intended to be complex and difficult. The game was supposed to be simple and easy, and most of all FUN!   And there’s a simple road to it, and it’s just a small decision away.   Welcome to the Revolution.

It is hard to contend against one’s heart’s desire; for whatever it wishes to have it buys at the cost of soul. ~Heraclitus~

How bad do you want something?  Can you almost taste and feel it?  Do you imagine that it’s already beside you, nestling comfortably under the crook of your arm?

If you wish for something that your heart desires, then think really hard… and it might just come true. If one adds concentration and feelings, it becomes a great creative power that makes things happen.

Creative visualization is not just about positive thinking. It is the ability to use one’s imagination to see things from greater heights, to see within one’s own mind the possibility to create an exciting reality.

We have all been using it in several different forms, usually subconsciously or unconsciously throughout our lives.

Many great people in the past have known about it, used it to their advantage and in the process, helped make the world a better place to live in.The brain is a powerful tool and should be utilized only for good.  Creative visualization can transform your life from dull to dazzling.

The idea will serve as a draft and the emotion provides the creative force of action which produces reality. By thinking of the good things that you want to happen, a positive stream of energy is created, surrounding you inch by inch. This positive energy stream first expands then solidifies and becomes your reality.

You can bring into your life more power, more wealth, more health, more happiness, and more joy by learning to contact and release the hidden power of your subconscious mind.- Dr. Joseph Murphy

There are many ways to go about this, but it is summarized in five easy to follow steps.

The first step is to relax. Sit or lie in any position that will make you comfortable. Breathe deeply and rhythmically.  Inhale and exhale slowly.  Picture your tense muscles slowly relaxing.  Un-knot those tight bunches and arrange them in an orderly fashion.

Second, get clear about what it is you really want, not just the image and sound but most importantly the feeling. Identify your ultimate energy state: what feeling will you have once you have created what you desire…will it be joy, relief, gratitude, loved, etc..

Third, set your highest ideal by picturing things that you want to happen. You are the master of your future so do this to the utmost of your ability.  Conjure pictures with distinct colors and vibrant hues. Don’t forget to add sounds and emotion. Focus on it as often as possible. Think , hear, feel it all throughout the day to galvanize the process.

Fourth, expect to succeed and take action. All of  the other steps, thinking hearing and feeling will amount to nothing more than mental masturbation unless you take action.

The final step, and perhaps the most difficult one, is giving your thought a positive energy. Only allow optimism and no other negative feeling to rule your life.  Negative energy will neutralize what you are trying to achieve.

There are several ways to use creative visualization in your life.

You may use it to relieve almost any physical problem. For instance, in cases of pain, where one could imagine themselves away from the hospital room, not in a drab hospital gown and without any tubes attached.

Instead, one could see ones self having a grand time in the Caribbean surrounded by the white sand and deep blue sea.

A person who is on a diet may envision himself to have a fit and beautiful body.

Some may use it to boost character or attitude. When a person views himself as poor, pathetic, idiotic or selfish… he may start to act that way. But the moment he sees himself as intellectual, humorous and friendly, he can begin to become that way.

It may also improve your relationship by picturing an increase in harmony, appreciation, affection and closeness.

Creative visualization cannot be used to “control” the behavior of others or cause them ill.  People should not be treated as voodoo dolls to be played around with.

Remember that the law of attraction exists and no one is exempt. If you wish others bad fortune, it will always come back to haunt you in time. Whatever you do, think or wish will always boomerang back to you, so be careful of what you wish for.

The American writer Henry David Thoreau once said:

“I find it wholesome to be alone the greater part of the time. To be in company even with the best of friends is soon wearisome and dissipating. I love to be alone. I never found the companion that was as companionable as solitude.”

Some would probably comment “what a sad man!” but if you stop and think about it, Thoreau is right. There are times that you really wish everyone would just fade away and leave you alone.

Is it right to crave solitude some times? The answer is a resounding YES.

In fact, it should be a requirement to balance out your life.

Being alone rests your soul from the constant need to interact. It frees you from the obligations that rule social interaction. You can be quiet and not worry that you’re being rude. You can eat what you want; do what you want to do; walk as fast or as slow as you want without having to think of your companion’s opinion.

Wouldn’t it be great to have only your own self to deal with?

Being alone helps you focus.

This is perfect time to talk to yourself – look back on the triumphs and tears; deal with the present; and dream of the future.  You can come up with plans on what you’d like to do. Get the house in order.Go to places you’ve always planned to visit. Start that book you’ve been planning to write forever.

Make decisions on issues as complicated as where to get your kid’s college tuition; to something as simple as what color the new wallpaper should be.  The freedom of your own choice is beyond exciting!

Being alone allows you to feed the inner YOU.

Whether the inner you wants triple chocolate with double dutch ice cream or to be lost in the world of the latest blockbuster movie, the important thing is – it’s YOU time.

Solitude gives you time to pamper your spirit and ask how it’s doing. Does it still feel loved? Or have you forgotten how it wants to commune with a Higher Spirit too?

Being alone also makes you think hard and see if you like who or what you’ve become.  Imagine the inner YOU as a different person – would you be worth knowing? Would you be happy spending time with this imaginary person? If  you can answer yes, then you are complete in every way that counts.

You should be your own best friend.

So spend time with this friend and enjoy being alone –it’s a guarantee that you’ll never be lonely.

The mind-power gurus who can operate mentally in theta or some other altered consciousness state believe that they enter a time-free zone where they can see past/present/future events with equal clarity.  It has always been considered that time flows forward, like an arrow from a bow but the relatively new science of Quantum Physics indicates that it may well flow in the opposite direction also.

And the more the scientific world delves into the strangeness of Quantum Physics, the weirder are the things being discovered.

It basically started out with the aperture test whereby a stream of light is shone through a narrow slit on to a screen. The light either showed up as a particle image on the screen or as a waveform, depending on what the experimenter expected! And there is now a line of thought that wonders if the normal state of events is the waveform, which materializes into particle form only when consciously examined.

When one considers the vast empty spaces inside supposedly solid matter, there may be some merit in this particle materialization concept. If you think about all the planets in our solar system and the vast distances between them, then reduce the size of our solar system down to that of an atom, it becomes easier to comprehend the spaces inside each atom. In fact, 99.99999999999% of a supposedly solid object is space.

It has been estimated that if all the “spaces” in the known universe were removed and only “solid” material left, then you could hold this in the palm of your hand.

The video monitor you are currently looking at is made up of mainly blank space. It consists of subatomic particles with vast spaces around them. In fact the whole known universe and everything in it is made up of the same material …subatomic particles.

If you raise your eyes from your screen and look around you, everything you see is made of subatomic particles, even your pet cat, which is mainly empty space. (Something you’ve always suspected!)

Everything is the same …except Human Consciousness!

Conscious awareness is a “stand-alone” event in the entire universe.

It is an anomaly.

Obviously this consciousness is a superior event compared to all the mundane subatomic sameness surrounding it. No wonder that controlled consciousness can influence the lifeless brethren we call inert matter! That is, there is no reason whatsoever why a human mind cannot influence matter.

The main reason we can’t do it, is because we don’t expect to!

The same as the scientists with the aperture test….. they get what they expect in the way of results. It takes a major change in the mental operating process to be able to influence matter to the point where you can cause psychokinetic effects with mind-power alone, but it happens!

If you think deeply about this, you will probably conclude that there is no reason why the superior stand-alone event of consciousness should not be able to directly influence the atomic structure of lifeless matter.

Einstein has proven that energy and mass are interchangeable (as in a nuclear reaction) and various universities and laboratories have been able to either measure or calculate the force generated by a human mind (as in psychokinetic experiments).

The obvious conclusion here is that, as mass and energy are interchangeable, the energy generated by human consciousness can be converted into its mass equivalent, the format of which is controlled and directed by the most extraordinary of higher-consciousness processes…

…Visualization…

When a human mind clearly and continually visualizes an end result, with deep emotion and concentrated intent, then the formatted energy generated is converted into its mass equivalent – ie. the result desired. As strange as this may sound, it is scientifically feasible and generally accepted as truth among the mind power people and top motivators.

In our universe……. nothing is what it seems!!

When we are born we are totally unprogrammed. We are like a computer without the software. Each developing individual slowly slips into a reality frame that is he or she finds comfortable. As we grow we are trained to recognize a common reality so that we can interact with others. We usually learn this via peer pressure at school and from social groups and parental influence.

That is, every sane human being adopts a “common denominator” when it comes to reality. This “window of reality” is basically the same for the entire human race. Your reality training teaches you that mankind cannot walk on white hot coals with a temperature 5 times that of boiling water! Yet it is done! The same training tells you that you cannot influence matter with your mind. Yet it happens!

Everybody “knows” that you cannot sit in a chair, relax, and clearly visualize some distant scene, in past, present or future time, with approximately the same degree of accuracy as produced by your other 5 senses.

Yet the Australian Aboriginal race has always had this “gift” and considers it normal. And there are a number of European people who have taken the trouble to learn this Remote Viewing process and some even practice it for a living!

Major corporations employ them to fill in information gaps.

The reality window, as we have accepted it for generations, is no longer valid.

Too many people are finding how to step outside it.

Under certain conditions, your mind can “escape” from the restriction of this universal window. And as an increasing number of individuals experience these “impossible” alternatives, universal human consciousness changes. When a critical number of people can achieve these alternative realities, then, like the 100th monkey theory, everyone will suddenly “know” that these things can be done. Sheldrake’s Morphogenic Field theory explains how this is achieved in real life.

Nothing is what it seems !!!

For the past 100 years or so western civilization has been technology orientated. The higher the technology, the better we like it. But technology is logic based. And our logic is based on our reality window.

If we become aware of a different form of technology which is not only outside our logic base, but also can’t be replicated reliably and worse still, cannot be measured on conventional instruments, then we panic!

It is outside our reality window.

But such technologies already exist. They are the science of the 21st century …because…

…nothing is what it seems!!!

Have you ever been in a situation that brought on sweats, rapid heartbeat and shortness of breath? You probably weren’t having a heart attack but an anxiety attack. If you suffer from anxiety disorders, learning to manage it is the first step to overcoming it.lens2319656_1228418479anxiety-cycle300.jpg

Anxiety is characterized as extreme reactions to fearful situations. When someone follows you into a dark alley, those anxious feelings of a racing heartbeat and sweaty palms gives way to heightened senses and a rush of adrenalin that can save your life. This is the fight or flight syndrome.

In the case of frequent anxiety, the fearful feelings are dread of a particular situation and not the situation itself. Getting caught in traffic can cause an anxiety attack over what might happen when you get to work late. Starting a new job can bring on anxiety attacks. You don’t know anyone and fear of the unknown can send you into a panic.

Everyone experiences some panic or anxiety in small ways. Like the fight or flight example, it can save your life. In new situations, we get panicky but when the outcome we fear fails to materialize, the anxiety stops. For someone with chronic anxiety, this is not the case. Every situation that brings anxiety is not life-threatening. More than likely it is an extremely stressful situation that has brought on the anxiety as a way of dealing with it. Unchecked anxiety of this type can lead to depression.

If you suffer from anxiety attacks on occasion or a more frequent anxiety disorder, there are steps you can take to keep your anxiety under control.

1. See a professional. This is always a good first step. Self-diagnosis of any type of physical or mental condition is unwise and can be dangerous. A professional can help you understand your anxiety and prescribe medication or other effective techniques.

2. Get a good night’s sleep. During the sleep cycle, your body repairs itself. You feel more rested after several hours of restorative sleep, reaching the REM stage. Most people need eight hours a night which varies within an hour or two each way.

3. Exercise on a consistent basis. Exercise helps you to use oxygen more efficiently. It helps to get more oxygen to the brain. It also increases focus which may help you see solutions to problems rather than simply worrying about them.

4. Meditate. Meditation is more than chanting mantras. Yoga is an exercise that involves quieting the mind and controlling your breathing. Simple mediation such as taking 5 minutes to clear your mind everyday can work wonders in the fight against anxiety.

5. Manage the worry. When you feel your pulse start to quicken, count backwards from ten. As you count, focus on the situation. What has actually happened? Resist the urge to read anything more into the situation.

6. Don’t use alcohol. You might think that the glass of wine is relaxing your tension but alcohol is a depressant. In anxious situations you could rely too heavily on it and gain another problem in the process.

7. Find some relaxing activities. Stress can rob you of your energy. On a regular basis, do something you like such as gardening, painting, reading or listening to music.

The mind can achieve

Anything you want in life is yours for the asking if you tap into the power of your own thoughts.

Is there anything you desire that you feel you can’t achieve?

Does what you really want seem just out of reach?

With a little imagination and faith you can turn your thoughts into reality. And with continued practice you can master the thought powers and think your way to health, happiness and prosperity.

Here are 5 simple step you can use to begin to turn your thoughts into reality.

1. Desire it. Passion is a strong bridge between you and what you want. Ask yourself – how much do you really want this thing you are thinking of? Is it something you can do without, or something you are really passionate about? When focused, passion is powerful force.

2. Be specific. Be very clear about what you want. What you get is only as clear as what you want. If you want a house, see it very clearly on your mind – the architectural design of the interior and exterior, the garden, and more. Set a deadline, otherwise it can turn into just fantasy. When do you want to have that house?

3. Visualize. This is arguably the most powerful tool of the mind. Be the director and leading actor in your own eternal movie. Walk through your dream house, see the sights, smell the scents, feel the feeling of being there. The subconscious mind does not differentiate between a real experience and an imagined experience. So, once you vividly imagine a scene, you are closer to having it manifest in reality. Visualize for a few minutes daily. It’s especially effective when done first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

4. Believe. Fear and doubt stand in the way between you and your dream. Should you feel any doubts, you must believe that the universe will give to you what you desire. The universe is overflowing in blessings and abundance if only you ask and believe! What you believe, the universe gives. If you believe that you will get it, the universe will give it to you. If you believe you won’t, then the universe won’t give it to you.

5. Take inspired action. From your daily visualizations, you may suddenly get a spark of an idea of how to get the house. Or you might meet a person who knows where you can buy your dream house. At these moments, don’t hesitate.  You must say yes to your dreams when the opportunity to have them appears in your mind, take action!  Your willingness to act on your thoughts is the final step on the way to turning your thoughts into reality.

So follow these 5 simple steps and see for yourself. You will never know if it true for you, or not, unless you try it for yourself.
